Rehabilitation is an important part of the Program. All employees applying for or receiving benefits under the Program will be evaluated for potential rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation efforts are most effective when they are started as soon as possible. Rehabilitation includes physical and psychological benefits.

All benefits received from the Long Term Disability Program are coordinated with other income, such as Social Security, Worker’s Compensation or other disability plans or pensions.

The above is a brief over view of PEHP’s Long Term Disability Program. For more detailed information, refer to PEHP’s Long Term Disability Master Policy.
